Human Resources Business Partner  

Milgard Windows & Doors is the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the Western United States with operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, and Texas. 

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Temecula, California.

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for the following key functions:

  • Identify, analyze and address opportunities for improvement in work environment, employee engagement, workforce stability, talent development, workforce planning, etc.
  • Manage the recruitment of hourly candidates for variety of positions in multiple functions, participate in interview and selection process of salaried candidates and manage the onboarding process
  • Conduct training for leads, supervisors and managers on a wide variety of topics to help increase their leadership effectiveness

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience, with previous experience in a HR Manager role
  • 4 year degree, preferably in HR, business or related discipline 
  • Broad knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, NLRA, California regulations, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success recruiting, talent assessment, training and development
  • SPHR or PHR preferred

The successful candidate will have proficiency in:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Critical thinking skills including the ability to understand, effectively interpret and communicate complex situations
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Customer Focus / Approachability
