POSITION SUMMARY:

The People Services Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources such as recruitment and staffing, personnel records, and/or equal opportunity/affirmative action. Duties include direct contact with agency partners to ensure staffing needs meet, interviewing and onboarding of the contingent work force, maintaining files and records of a confidential nature, and preparing periodic standardized reports.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs recruiting transaction in Workday, such as moving the candidate through the hiring process (interview, hiring, dispositioning).
  • Maintains and distributes, as appropriate, current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communications.
  • Develop forms and some operating processes for administration of HR procedures
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition Manger with recruiting logistics and coordination of interviews scheduling, document preparation, candidate travel.
  • Administer new hire orientation, including E-Verify, I-9 paperwork etc, referral coordination for drug screenings and physicals
  • Interpreting, assisting and advising employees and managers regarding leave management and benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines.
  • Establishing, organizing the maintenance of department records and employee files, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Complete Audits of employee files to ensure employee records are within compliance standards and company policies
  • Assists with coordinating employee events
  • May perform new hire orientations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicable degree (AA/BA/BS) in Human Resources or comparable field of study
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience with work agency contingent workforce
  • General understanding of FLSA laws and Wage & Hour rules
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and cloud-based team file sharing

PREFRRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 year of Human Resource experience preferred
  • HR certification such as PHR or GPHR
  • Experience with HCM systems

COMPETENCIES:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

  • Excellent organizational skills required
