Position Summary
Bristan Group is seeking a General Manager with responsibility for developing and driving the Heritage Bathrooms division with ultimate decision rights for the sales and contribution margin. The Heritage General Manager, reporting to the CEO of Bristan Group, will chair and lead the Heritage Bathrooms executive team by inspiring leadership through great vision and appropriate challenge and support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Devise and deliver a successful sales & marketing strategy

• Lead, coordinate and execute the delivery of the Heritage Long Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

• Manage and drive the financial results through sales in conjunction with the Finance Manager

• Responsible for sales and material margin and sale, marketing and forecast of these overheads

• Responsible for capex expenditure related to new product development

• Responsible for new product roadmap and management of product portfolio

• Direct functional management of the sales team

• Direct responsibility for heritage marketing and product management

• Identify and develop a compelling vision of the brand’s potential

• Visibly seen as the ‘face’ of Heritage to our customers

• Manage key accounts and Business Development initiatives in relation to the distribution strategy

• Lead and Chair the Heritage Management team consisting of Finance, Product Management, Marketing and Customer Contact Centre Management

• Define and implement a brand development strategy

• Work with the operations, logistics, manufacturing, IT and HR department heads to lead the Heritage division

• Identify, persuade and work to achieve business opportunities for the division

• Take an active role in the Bristan executive team working closely with all members

Experience and Qualifications

• Entrepreneur flare with ‘self drive’

• Experience in a senior leadership role with accountability for P&L and cashflow

• Leadership experience in a consumer durable related business with exposure or experience in a retail business

• Financially acute; strong commercial/consumer acumen
