Group Product Manager

As the Group Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Decorative Product Management Team at Kichler Lighting and leading the strategic direction of the portfolio across multiple product lines and channels of distribution.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will regularly connect with stakeholders in Customer Experience, Design, Engineering, Operations and Sales as you lead your Team through New Product Introduction (NPI) and Portfolio Management activities.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with demonstrated abilities in developing talent, strategic thinking, and product management and development fundamentals including lifecycle management, roadmaps, competitive analysis and pricing.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Decorative Product Management Team in developing and executing a cohesive approach to portfolio management
  • Oversee New Product Introduction initiatives to ensure alignment to strategy and intra- and inter-department collaboration
  • Act as a champion in establishing productive, timely, and efficient habits within our NPI process that leads to successful deliverable and project execution
  • Lead Decorative Product Management Team in development and execution of multi-year Product Plan / Roadmap rooted in category vision and goals
  • Establish rhythm of portfolio reporting and analysis
  • Mentor, develop and manage a team of product management professionals in line with Kichler Lighting’s succession needs and individual career growth aspirations
  • Represent Kichler Lighting at Customer and industry events as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Development
  • Minimum of seven years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of building teams, and developing high-performing talent within Product Management environment
  • Exceptional leadership, motivational skills, and ability to influence others within a cross-functional work environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong analytical skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA from an accredited college or university
