Position SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician with a grade A level is responsible for all maintenance repairs and service throughout the company.  Perform electrical diagnostics, installation of equipment, rebuild and overhaul equipment.  The skilled technician will perform skilled operations such as electrical pneumatics, hydraulics, air conditioning, and welding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical diagnostic analysis on all equipment.
  • Perform installation of all pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems as necessary.
  • Rebuild machines and overhaul components and attachment to involve dismantling, inspection, or replacement.
  • Perform skilled operations, such as welding, electrical pneumatics, hydraulics, and air conditioning.
  • Program, repair, install and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • May perform other maintenance-related responsibilities when determined necessary by supervisor.
  • Coordinate operations with electricians and other trade personnel.
  • Perform building repair and maintenance activities

  • High attention to detail.
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Understand and comply with company safety standards and federal regulations.
  • Must be a team player across departments.
  • Consistently maintain a clean work area.
  • Electrical certification required.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of all building maintenance requirements
  • Proficiency demonstrated by certifications.
  • Minimum of five years maintenance experience or equivalent.
  • Currently own or obtain all required maintenance tools
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of manufacturing machinery and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of general maintenance, including compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to work both independently and interdependently.
  • Computer literate with MSOffice Suite and email.
  • Excellent Communication skills (read, write, and complete reports)

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 10 – 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to lift 20 – 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to easily grasp products and other materials.

Work Environment:

  • Climate-controlled, noisy environment.
  • Some work required outdoors in various weather
  • Authorized access areas.
