Forecast Analyst

Location:  St. Thomas, ON

Come build the future with us!  We are looking for an experienced Forecast Analyst who will interpret historical information and input from functional groups to build product and sales forecasts for Trade, Retail, and Intercompany sales channels.  

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 Years of experience in a Sales Analytics or Inventory Management role
  • APICS Certification highly desired
  • Above average computer skills with Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), JD Edwards, Sequel/Viewpoint
  • Demonstrated excellence in analysis and decision-making
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and work without supervision
  • Strong learning agility

What you will do:

  • Maintain and update the forecast accuracy database
  • Attend monthly demand planning meetings with account managers with data driven suggestions for forecast improvements
  • Organize and lead monthly Pre-SOP meetings with the Sales teams, the Forecast team, and other key departments
  • Analyze monthly reports to identify key areas of focus and adjust system driven forecasts
  • Work with the Sales Team to assist on development and execution of budgets and forecasts
  • Complete routine monthly forecasting procedures
  • Phase In/Phase Out product forecast management
  • New Launch product forecast management
  • Provide Trade sales quote analysis and analytics to build useful metrics to improve forecast accuracy
  • Manage and analyze weekly product forecast
