Delta Faucet Company has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst at our Indianapolis Headquarters!


The Financial Analyst – Segment P&L has the core responsibility of creating and developing new processes, post our recent ERP implementation, for streamlining profitability reporting.  The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining and reporting various business segmentation P&L’s.  Additionally, the financial analyst will support new product development teams, segment P&L teams, and monthly reporting and KPI’s. 


Nature & Scope:

  • Create new decision-making tools and processes which will help drive business decisions at the Executive Leadership level.
  • Position allows for broad knowledge over the different segments of the organization.
  • Working relationships for this position are mainly internal DFC employees; however, the nature of this position provides for cross-functional involvement with many areas of the organization.
  • This position will provide critical data which will be presented to the Executive Staff by the Finance Manager.  The Financial Analyst has the growth opportunity to lead these Segment P&L overview meetings and obtain a high level of exposure within the company.
  • Position allows for much individual work but also allows for involvement within team settings.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Report sales down to operating income for multiple business segments quarterly
  • Support quarterly presentation of Segment P&L to Executive Staff
  • Develop new processes, post a recent ERP system (SAP) implementation, and drive improvements in department analytical tools
  • Prepare monthly KPI reports
  • Provide financial analysis and support for New Product Development teams
  • Complete numerous and varied ad hoc financial analysis
  • Participate on multiple segment P&L teams
  • Provide budgeting and forecasting at the segment level

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting from a 4-year college or university, MBA/CPA preferred, and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience.  Success in this position requires an individual to have excellent problem-solving skills and leadership characteristics.  Additionally, the role requires an individual who is self-motivated in finding answers and proposing solutions. This person must possess the ability to effectively handle and communicate problems that are varied and often non-repetitive and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization while maintaining confidentiality.  Above average aptitude in Excel, prior SAP knowledge, flexibility to incorporate change helps individual complete their tasks at a high level. Candidate must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative and a high standard of ethics.
