Delta Faucet Company has an awesome opportunity for a Financial Analyst on our Finance and Accounting team in Indianapolis!

The Financial analyst - eBusiness has the core responsibilities of providing financial support to the eBusiness channel.  This will include sales analysis, gross-to-net accounting and analysis, and profitability analysis.  Additionally, the financial analyst will support New Product Development teams.

Nature & Scope:

  • Position allows for much individual work but also allows for involvement within team settings; including cross-functional involvement with many departments in the organization.
  • Position allows for knowledge growth in the areas of GAAP accounting and financial analysis.
  • This position reports to the Finance Manager over Retail and eBusiness channels and is one of nine team members within the Financial Analysis group.
  • Working relationships for this position are mainly internal DFC employees.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Analyze monthly costs that reduce net sales for the eBusiness channel
  • Keep management informed of new or changing eBusiness customer programs and incentives
  • Inform eBusiness channel business associates of impacts of financial analysis results and/or recommendations
  • Interpret/analyze the financial statements
  • Responsible for holding monthly meetings, reporting monthly expenses and improving expense forecasting
  • Numerous and varied ad hoc financial analysis
  • Monthly creation of standard financial reports for Finance & other departments
  • Budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for the eBusiness business channel
  • Financial analysis and support for New Product Development teams

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting from a 4-year college or university and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience.  MBA, CPA, or CMA desired, but not required.  Success in this position requires that a person be self-motivated in finding answers and proposing solutions and maintain a high level of accuracy and credibility in the work that they perform.  Additionally, the role requires individual to have excellent problem-solving skills and leadership characteristics.  This person must possess the ability to effectively handle and communicate problems that are varied and often non-repetitive and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization while maintaining confidentiality.  Must have above average level of competence and proficiency in Excel-based financial analysis and modeling.  Candidate must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative, and a high standard of ethics.
