Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • Event Marketing: help develop and implement customer facing events. Events include, but not limited to sales meetings, Indy customer events, and in-field customer events.
  • Event Administration: Will help with coordinating all details for participants including logistics, communications, and event management and help with maintaining customer contact lists.
  • Event Execution: help manager cross-functional coordination within DFC and outside agencies to drive and support a consistent message to targeted customer and influencer groups

Additional Opportunities:

  • Work with the Senior Manager and Manager of Event Marketing along with Marketing, Sales, Rep Agencies, and key supporting agency partners to consistently exceed customer expectations

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing 4-year degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Event Planning or other related degree program
  • Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information:

You will be in our Indianapolis office off Meridian and 106th street. This is a paid internship starting in May 2019 through April 2020, 40 hours a week during the summer months and 15 to 20 hours a week during the Fall and Spring semesters.
