The EFV Manual Assembly and Testing Operator will utilize their skill set to perform production tasks to assemble specific products using Quality as the most important performance aspect.  The operator must demonstrate proficiency in all assembly and machine operations, closely follow the “Build Sequence Schedule”, perform machine adjustments, consistently maintain the highest level of performance, as well as recognize components by sight and part number.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Demonstrate proficiency in all operations, including component identification and effectively read Bill of Material (BOM).


  • Demonstrate understanding of Work Instructions.
  • Complete appropriate documentation (scrap tickets, process windows) correctly.
  • Understand and perform the “Build Sequence Schedule” and record production produced.


  • Demonstrate proficiency on the function of each station (ie. seat inserters, stem installer, Loctite application, outlet driver, and screw driver) and perform minor station adjustments.


  • Proficiently identify valves and components by sight and demonstrate advanced knowledge of entire assembly process.
  • Identify non-conforming parts and notify management of existing conditions.
  • Train “New” operators on the entire assembly process.


  • Be self-accountable of ensuring the work performed meets the “Quality Standards” and production required for valve testing.
  • Ensure the test data is recorded and documented accurately.
  • Achieve and maintain an average goal of 95% or better consistently for six months.
  • Perform equipment tests and necessary changeovers to complete the tests.

  • All operators must demonstrate improvement and knowledge in the listed above areas prior to achieving the next progressive step in advancement.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 10 – 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to lift 20 – 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to easily grasp products and other materials.

Work Environment:

  • Climate-controlled, noisy environment.
  • Authorized access areas.
