Job Description

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for all scheduling of shipping and the corresponding paperwork.  The Delivery Coordinator position is the liaison between Milgard’s delivery drivers, the warehouse operation and the customer.  Responsible to ensure customers are notified of any shipping issues regarding delivery of their windows and to resolve and communicate resolutions to the customers.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide quality customer service and customer care in support for Milgard customer base.
  • Process and review delivery requests in a timely fashion.
  • Route deliveries and respond to internal and external customer questions and concerns about the deliveries.
  • Communicate professionally with Milgard external customers and internal customers regarding product and business issues.
  • Support the customer service process by working extensively with all departments as necessary.
  • Responsible for data entry of delivery information to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Incorporates Milgard’s Core Values into day-to-day activities and behaviors.
  • Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of one (1) or more years experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Excellent customer service skills in person, telephone and email required.
  • Experience with MS Office, including Word, Outlook and some basic Excel required.
  • Data entry experience required.
  • Previous window sales and/or customer service preferred.
