Key Responsibilities: 

  • Champion of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Process.
  • Responsible for developing a high-performance NPI team who will manage the New Product Introductions across all product lines.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders while refining and enhancing documentation of existing process.
  • Implement formal Gate review process with executive leadership team.
  • Drive a culture of process rigor throughout Kichler Lighting.
  • Responsible for NPI KPIs: On-time and On-budget.
  • Develop cadence for status updates to executive staff, highlighting key risks, issues and needed support.
  • Coach and mentor team of Program Managers who are assigned to and responsible for a defined list of annual projects.
  • Ability to manage not only team of project leaders, but also capable to take the lead on projects when needed.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 10+ years of product development background
  • 5+ years of managing projects through NPI Stage gate process
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor team
  • Ability to drive change throughout an organization
  • Ability to travel internationally
