Delta Faucet Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced strategic thinker to lead our business development and market intelligence teams. The Director, Insights and Business Development directs all Delta Faucet Company exploration into new business opportunities, connecting insights and market intelligence to business strategy to fuel growth. Key deliverables include New Business Development Roadmap and key project management, M&A pipeline cultivation and opportunity assessments, market assessments, research initiatives, data and analysis support for creating more informed decision making, and leading company strategy development in various areas as assigned.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Active management of a new business development roadmap
  • Lead strategic projects to develop business cases for new business growth
  • Inputs to annual strategic planning process
  • M&A pipeline management and opportunity assessments
  • Oversee all Delta market research activity
  • Develop and oversee business measurement processes such as the purchase funnel, company effectiveness tracking, and brand tracking studies
  • Oversee the product data quality team and initiatives
  • Develops and applies specialized tools, processes and models to drive business decisions, examples include obsolescence, price increase, commodities modeling, market sizing, etc.
  • Oversees market analysis and strategic market assessments and budgets

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from four-year college (advanced degree preferred but not required) and ten plus years of related experience. Highly developed business acumen and strategic agility required. Must be able to deal with ambiguity while creatively solving problems. This person must possess highly developed communication skills including the ability to articulate a vision at all levels of the organization. The incumbent must have the ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources and apply it to business needs at Delta Faucet. It is critical to have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access is necessary.
