Purpose:

The Director of Brizo Brand Management develops, manages and executes market-driven and industry leading brand and channel strategies.


Nature & Scope:

This business leader is responsible for developing and growing influencer brand advocacy utilizing holistic marketing strategies through all touch points along the specification, selection and installation journey for the Brizo brand. This person serves as the brand champion in the organization ensuring the brand positioning is relevant in the market and is consistently supported in all market facing business strategies. The role oversees brand voice, advertising campaigns, marketing collateral, photography, video production, website, PR as well as channel marketing.


This position will also play a key role in new category research, strategy development and plan execution for DFC.


Dimensions:

  • YOY growth in brand awareness and recommendation for targeted audiences as measured by brand equity tracking studies and purchase funnel studies
  • Progressive improvement in specific brand equity attributes
  • YOY growth in earned media impressions, website traffic and engagement metrics
  • Efficiency of media dollar as measured through reach, frequency and CPM
  • YOY improvements in specific channel goals
  • Multi-million dollar budget management

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Exercise brand stewardship, ensuring appropriate brand relevance, impact and consistency at all tough points in purchase journey
  • Collaborate closely with Brizo Product Marketing, Sales and R&D to ensure the content of the product portfolio, long-range roadmaps and sales goals align with brand priorities
  • Enable internal cross functional coordination and collaborate with other Masco business units to drive and support delivery of a consistent brand message to targeted influencers and high-end consumers
  • Lead and manage development of overall marketing strategies (brand and channel) and oversee outside agencies to ensure consistency and maximize impact
  • Develops and manages the Brizo brand advertising and media plans, including creative for print, online, collateral, sponsorships and added-value; manages advertising agency including contract, activities and personnel
  • Inspire and develop others to honor and act in accordance with brand promise


Specific Areas of Focus:

  • Advertising creative and media plans including print, digital and social mediums
  • Earned media including PR, influencer cultivation and social media
  • Marketing collateral including price books, catalogs, mini-catalogs, cross reference guides, brochures and sell sheets
  • Photography and video production
  • New product launch support, sales tools and collateral
  • Website oversight including user experience, content development and tracking overall performance metrics to goals
  • Lead all brand communication efforts for customer meetings, events and training sessions; will include activities both in Indy as well as in the field

Education and Experience/Skills:

Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Marketing, Advertising or a related field. Advanced degree preferred but not required. At least ten years of related marketing experience including experience managing brand campaigns, website, PR, social and overseeing outside agency resources. Ideal candidate should include experience marketing a premium to luxury brand through a dealer or similar network and developing strategies targeting industry influencers (showroom associates, designers, custom builders, high-end remodelers). Candidate must be able to demonstrate successful management and development of direct reports in previous roles.


This person must be a visionary, able to anticipate future consequences, have a bias to action and must have a strong ability to prioritize multiple demands. Must be willing to appropriately challenge status quo and encourage others to do the same. Essential that this individual be an effective collaborator who openly seeks and shares information and ideas to achieve company goals. A demonstrated customer/influencer focus and understanding is needed, evaluating decisions based on the impact to customer/influencers. Must have a strong sense of personal accountability, taking ownership of company goals and delivering top quality results. Additionally, this person needs to be passionate and optimistic, with the ability to effectively communicate a compelling vision to others both inside and outside of the organization
