Work with internal and external partners to develop a collaborative and more accurate forecast for all products sold using available data, considering fill rates, inventory levels and return on investment. Each Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible for working closely with our Masco Asia contacts in communicating demand requirements and coordinating the appropriate level of supply to satisfy customer needs.

  • To contribute to the creation of weekly and monthly demand plans by employing the use of defined forecasting tools and processes.
  • To assess and recommend changes to existing processes or tools necessary to deliver the best possible demand plan.
  • To follow the daily forecasting routine as defined by department management and directed by the immediate supervisor.
  • To facilitate regular forecast updates to sales, supply planning, inventory and operations planning, marketing and channel management by keeping them apprised of forecast changes or anticipated events that may affect service or inventory investment.
  • Manage safety stock levels based on current inventory levels and projected sales.
  • Review and provide customer demand schedules to improve planning accuracy.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to better understand demand and improve customer service and forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with Masco Asia counterparts to communicate demand requirements and ensure that appropriate level of supply is available to satisfy customer needs. This includes collaborating with Masco Asia on timing and execution of customer events.
  • Serve as supply planning link to our sales teams and external customers. This includes presenting supply plans/potential issues and action plans weekly to internal and external partners through use of weekly exception reports and communicating back to the appropriate Masco Asia Supply Partner.
  • Continue to offer supply planning support where required to satisfy a customer need. This support includes but is not limited to: executing emergency DC transfers or work orders, performing “ER simulations” or analysis to assess ability to satisfy unexpected customer demand, requesting air freight or other expedite methods to address gaps in ability to meet customer needs, reviewing customer orders where needed for allocation approval.
  • Work within approved budget and is diligently cost conscious; Develops and implements cost saving measures; Contributes to profits and revenue; act as good stewards with company resources.
  • Demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset – through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business with a minimum of one to two years relevant demand planning/forecasting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Forecasting Tools; PkMS/JDE One World Inventory software and advanced Excel skills.
  • RILA Certification, CSCP, and other APICS certifications helpful.
