Job Summary:


Exciting sales support intern summer internship opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of building products in the kitchen and bath segment. The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful, professional hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. Interns will have the opportunity for meaningful contribution to the host department’s business objectives while experiencing personal professional development.

The dealer sales support internship will be based in Ann Arbor, MI at Masco Cabinetry’s Headquarters. The Intern’s primary role will be to work with the team as an associate sales analyst.


The Intern will have the opportunity to work on the following types of projects:

  • Collaborate with the Director, Dealer Sales Support to set strategic departmental vision, ensuring overall alignment with key dealer channel strategies and deliverables.
  • Compile data and analyze program requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds required. Create, maintain and report routinely on status of dealer sales support functions as related to corporate and channel objectives and incremental growth associated with program. Responsibility includes monthly status meetings, documentation of status reports and follow-up on agreed action plans.
  • Provides recommendations of business strategies and corrective action plans designed to address dealer channel problems and opportunities as discovered while working with dealers, within channel or corporately.
  • Works in cooperation and coordination with the Director of Sales, Manager(s) within Dealer Sales Support department; District Managers and Area Managers to identify potential needs for Channel improvement and to ensure effective and complimentary plans, pipelines and communications consistently are taking place.
  • Assist with implementation of broader dealer development solutions, including development of training materials/manuals, quick reference guides, case studies, and best practices that can be leveraged nationally and/or organizationally.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, sales, or related field
  • Major GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Completed at least three years of college education prior to start of internship
  • Ability to effectively express thoughts/ideas through written and verbal communication
  • Analytical and creative problem solving abilities
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships in a cross functional team environment
  • School and/or work experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Management Skills

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Leadership experience, including involvement in related student organizations
  • Previous related internship experience
