Position Summary:

This is a salaried position reporting to the Process Planning & Data Maintenance Supervisor.  The Data Change Coordinator manages JD Edwards Item Master, PDM and ECO data.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process engineering change data:  creation and maintenance of bills of material and routes, including ECO management
  • Maintain reliable Item Master part files in JD Edwards including, but not limited to: new part set-ups, end-of-life-cycle processing, UPC/ITF data
  • Liaise with various groups to ensure adherence to process and data accuracy
  • Promote engineering drawings
  • Create Trial Run work orders
  • Effectively troubleshoot non-standard issues
  • Identify, design and implement process improvements
  • Perform audits on a regular basis to ensure data integrity
  • Create and maintain work instructions

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing item master and product related system accuracy in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and familiarity with Masco Canada’s products would be beneficial, but not required
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL/Viewpoint experience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while supporting a team effort
  • Above-average learning agility

Educational Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration or other relevant field

    Years of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

Additional Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
