The Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.


PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strong account management with efficient, courteous service providing information and resolving non-routine inquiries and complaints in a timely manner within established guidelines
  • Maintaining, updating and providing pricing information, order status and delivery information, calculating volume discounts, preparing customer quotations, memos, correspondence, reports, statistical data and other documents as assigned and in issuing customer return authorizations, credits, and adjustments
  • Acting as liaison between customers and various other departments as well as the rep agencies and sales managers
  • Enter orders into system with high level of accuracy and volume
  • Participate in continuous training on policy, product and processes
  • Able to travel up to 10%+
  • Performs other related duties as needed and assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and 3-5 years of experience in Customer Care or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams
  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with the plumbing industry and products
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
