• Maintain a computerized product costing and product data management system
• Leverage and improve technology to increase efficiency in data entry activities and overall business processes
• Create and maintain product information such as items with attributes, manufacturing routings, and bills of material (BOM) in computer systems
• Administer the engineering change process by maintaining approval routes, reviewing change documents, and issuing change orders and notices
• Analyze bill of material structure for completeness in accordance with engineering requirements, product standards, and procedures
• Conduct regular review periods to audit bills of material and product cost information
• Query, manipulate, and analyze tabulated data in Excel to construct and setup new items and bills of material (BOM) in Oracle JD Edwards ERP system
• Perform all other related cost duties as required

Preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliations

• Assist accounts payable (invoice processing, vendor inquires, W-9 compliance, etc.)

Complete mandatory compliance activities (escheatment, excise tax returns, Masco reports, etc.)

• Perform various projects/tasks as required

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Completed at least two years of college education prior to start of internship, including introductory coursework in accounting
• Major GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Express an interest about their performance and their job duties
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
