Purpose:  

The People Services HRIS Consultant will play a critical role in completing professional and analytical assignments related to human resources. They will be responsible for working closely with the People Services Leadership team to provide data and insights to business leaders on compensation and People Services data.  


Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.  
  • Responsible to updating department metrics and reporting.  
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, oral and written reports both narrative and statistical.  
  • Complete accurate analyses, reports, and recommendations in a variety of personnel areas.  
  • Understand, interpret, and apply Behr Paint Company policies and procedures as well as applicable federal, state, and local policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.  
  • Analyze data and information using established criteria, in order to determine consequences and to identify and select alternatives.  
  • Strong business and Human Resources acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain career paths and job descriptions and conduct FLSA reviews to ensure company compliance.  
  • Participate in salary surveys and market analysis to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.  
  • Works with People Services colleagues to proactively address compensation issues.  
  • Support in preparation of plan documents and communication material.  
  • Project manage the annual merit planning process.  
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in existing processes and procedures.  

 
Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field  
  • 2-4 Years of analytical or compensation administration skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills that include the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Advanced experience of Excel and strong proficiency with PowerPoint for creation of presentations.  
  • Independent self-starter who can work with minimal direction and isn’t afraid to make recommendations to improve processes
  • Prior HR specialization in one of the following areas is a plus, but not required: benefits, recruitment, and/or compensation
  • Experience working with Workday or related HRIS system
