Job Description


The Coating Worker is responsible for masking off windows and doors in preparation for the painters to apply the painted surface.


  • Mask each window and door type per engineering ECN’s.
  • Ensure the highest safety when turning the window and doors.
  • Ensure the highest Quality of windows and doors for the painting process.
  • Proper usage of personal protective equipment.

75% - Prepping the windows and doors

Responsible for the application of masking material and to engineering specifications and ensuring the highest Quality.

20% - Removing Door handles

Be responsible for removing door handles as part of the prepping function, then reassembling the door handles after the baking process.

5% - Quality Checks

Ensure Door handles and completed windows and doors operate to Milgard specifications before expediting the units to the warehouse.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.


  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient use of hand tools to include: tape measure, level, saws, drills, etc.
  • Able to compute basic math problems.
