JOB SUMMARY:

Directly responsible and accountable for the development of the The Home Depot channel and strategy to drive sales volume and share. The scope of this role includes strategic planning, program development and oversight/implementation of all Masco Cabinetry marketing programs within the channel, ensuring channel sell-through.



PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop channel/customer strategy and translate strategy into plans, projects, and programs in collaboration with management and sales.
  • Work with channel customer and internal teams to identify, develop and implement training plans and programs.
  • Ensure success of annual channel plans by directing and coordinating product roll-outs, projects and programs.
  • Monitor and compile competitive activity including new product introductions, promotions and designer incentives.
  • Identify promotion needs, develop and implement quarterly promotional plan and coordinate brand activities in the channel.
  • Work with internal teams to develop meaningful designer incentive programs that build brand loyalty, create brand advocates and drive sales.
  • Identify, develop and implement strategic store display plan in in collaboration with management.
  • Support sales team in negotiation of annual programs and preparation for line review, business meetings and marketing updates.
  • Support public relations opportunities for national exposure for our products in partnership with customers, including TV, magazine and on-line opportunities.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration or related field.
  • 7 years channel marketing and sales negotiation work experience.
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration or related field.
