The Business Solutions Manger - Service Operations works directly with Supply Chain, Customer Solutions, Planning, Manufacturing and IT leadership to identify, mature, and deliver solutions. This opportunity provides an exciting mix of technical and traditional challenges along with projects that are transformational in the capabilities they will enable. Ideal candidates will blend their knowledge of technology/systems, analytical skills, and trends in supply chain & service management to elevate and champion the best opportunities. They will balance emerging areas like Digital Factory and CRM with traditional needs of ERP and planning systems to optimize our project portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with partners across all meaningful business functions (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning & Manufacturing Operations)
  • Direct an experienced team with high business insight
  • Develop a technology roadmap that will help Delta win in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Service to our customers
  • Develop compelling cases for change based on the generation of business value and new capability
  • Guide the organization through process change and adoption of technology
  • Drive effective, efficient and successful project execution
  • Inform and drive system and solution architectures
  • Define and implement a strategy that supports roadmap execution, solution support and evergreen IT principles

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain, planning, operations leadership, customer service or IT functions
  • Experience delivering technology solutions supporting supply chain, operations, customer service or other relevant business processes
  • Exposure to ERP (particularly SAP) and/or other enterprise level technology solutions
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environments
  • Developed negotiation and consensus building skills
  • Significant experience leading complex projects and transformative change
  • Proven communication and related interpersonal proficiencies
