We are seeking a Brand Manager to join our team!


IN A NUTSHELL
Are you a creative, results oriented, marketing expert with experience in Brand Management? We are seeking a Brand Manager for our Freeflow® Spas and Fantasy® Spas business which is part of our top-selling specialty brands and accessories products, primarily sold through our dealer network. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, AHS, to maximize the overall success of the Freeflow® Spas and Fantasy® Spas business. The Brand Manager provides leadership to the marketing staff, develops and executes plans, and achieves department goals related to marketing activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a three-year roadmap detailing marketing initiatives designed to drive brand preference and sales results.

IS THIS YOU?

  • Are you strategy driven? You will develop and implement short and long-term brand strategies for Freeflow® Spas and Fantasy® Spas, including overseeing brand management activities and supporting new business development initiatives.
  • Do you have marketing content expertise? You’ll develop and execute annual content strategy and plans for each brand across the entire marketing mix, as well as, oversee marketing communications and content including: promotional materials, brochure copy, print collateral, advertising, emails, video scripts, digital campaigns, PR, prospecting tools and presentations.
  • Are you a digital marketer? You will develop and implement digital marketing strategies and initiatives aimed to generate increased sales and leads to grow the category, increase market share and brand awareness, and manage all digital marketing activities, including: advertising, Business-to-Consumer (B2C) initiatives and consumer websites, brand websites, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media advertising, and engagement plans.
  • Are you creative? You will oversee the marketing creative process, including development and production of all forms of marketing collateral (electronic or print). You’ll also work closely with product management to monitor new product activities that result in corresponding marketing initiatives such as brochures, website updates, photo shoot and video needs, etc.
  • Are you a leader? You will be responsible for inspiring, motivating, encouraging, and supporting the marketing team to help drive success for the overall team.
  • Are you solutions minded? You will research, source, and implement CMS and marketing automation systems for AHS business needs, with an eye on the long term fit for the business, as well as integrating the platform with existing websites & Salesforce.
  • Are you results driven? You’ll develop and implement marketing programs, managing all Voice of Customer (VOC) and market research, as well as, monitoring participation and working with dealers, marketing staff and sales management, to ensure effective utilization by trade customers.
  • Are you a strong communicator? You will ensure effective communication and training for our internal and external customers through development and presentation of inspiring content for dealer meetings/conferences/trade shows, seminars, webinars, ongoing communications, as well as, participating in company meetings.
  • Are you a team player? You’ll also work closely with marketing and brand leaders across Watkins Wellness to foster teamwork, shared learnings, and collaboration.
  • Do you build strong relationships? You’ll manage key marketing vendor and agency relationships with a keen focus on departmental financial resources. You’ll also work closely with our dealers to provide support and help contribute to their success in selling Freeflow® Spas and Fantasy® Spas products.
  • Can you manage a budget? You will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, AHS to develop and manage the marketing budget.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing or directly related field is strongly preferred.
  • 5-8 years of Brand Management and/or Marketing experience in a manufacturing environment is desired. Experience working with high-ticket durable goods or pool and spa industry experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in and solid understanding of consumer products, dealer-direct marketing, mass-merchant marketing, consumer-direct marketing, brand and product positioning, advertising (creative and media spending), point-of-sale merchandising, product management, and eBusiness.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including working with and leading cross-functional teams is necessary to be successful in this role. Previous experience in successfully leading and managing individuals including motivating the team, setting expectations, managing performance, interviewing and hiring, and assigning workload is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding in budgeting and forecasting (expenses and demand) along with solid financial acumen is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills including written business correspondence and creative writing, verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization. Must be able to effectively present information and interact with large group audiences of 100+ people.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Experience using Salesforce CRM is a plus. Knowledge and experience with digital marketing is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (~10-15%) for channel partner visits, conferences, trade shows, company meetings, etc.
