  • Assist in the overseeing of the manufacturing operations 


  • Assist in the overseeing of manufacturing operations to include maintenance and physical condition of the facility.
  • Ensure adherence to operational budgets and proper quantities are available of raw materials and packing goods.
  • Direct and review scheduling of manufacturing operations to ensure safe production of quality products.
  • Develop and review methods for manufacturing, processing, filling and implement modification when necessary.
  • Propose, develop and justify annual operating and expense budgets.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, environmental rules, regulations, policies and training requirements.  Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and production problems.
  • Research feasibility and application of major equipment changes or facility upgrades.  Initiate programs and processes for improved product quality
  • Manage selection, training and supervision of staff for all departments and conduct meetings to review plant issues.
  • Design and implement Safety and Continuous Improvement programs for the manufacturing operators.



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Broad and progressively responsible manufacturing, management, operations, cost control and safety experience is required 


  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, paint chemistry, processing, plant capacity and automations
  • Considerable knowledge of management, supervision and leadership procedures
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to define, prepare and analyze production reports, budgets and capital costs
  • Organization and interpersonal skills
  • Recruitment, selection, training and supervision experience
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, DOT and Environmental Regulations


  • May be required to incur some occasional out of state travel
