Milgard Windows & Doors is the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the Western United States with operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, and Texas.

We are looking for an Architectural Dealer Representative.

If you are charismatic and outgoing, enjoy building new relationships to aggressively grow sales and promote the Milgard brand, we would like to speak to you! We have an opportunity for an Architectural Dealer Representative to act as business representative and specification resources for building architects in the area of Southern California.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit Architects to provide product knowledge training on Milgard Products
  • Conduct CEU classes for groups of architects (5-30)
  • Conduct lunch and learn classes for small groups of architects
  • Working with architects on writing specifications for Milgard Windows & Doors on project plans
  • Provide architects rough project budgeting numbers for Milgard products
  • Train inside and outside sales reps on Milgard products and building codes
  • Increase the number of architects specifying Milgard on their projects
  • Introduce Milgard products to architects currently using competitor’s brands
  • Help increase Milgard multi-family and custom home market share in Southern California

Experience

  • Ability to initiate sales process through prospecting
  • Understand the needs of architect’s, specifiers and designers needs through informational meetings, response to inquiries and requests for service
  • Manage expense accounts for all budgets based on allocations
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans/quotas
  • Need to have the ability to read blueprints
  • Strong MS and Excel
