Job Description

Tempered Sort Lead must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions.  They are to complete their work with accuracy and efficiency.  They must be able to construct windows in all different phases, including glass department, or aluminum department.  The nature of all production positions is repetitive motions for extended periods of time.


  • Track tempered Back Orders from each of our vendors in a spreadsheet, determine root cause of BO, and report out on it daily to IGD team and Management. 
  • Must be able to quality inspect product as it comes in the door and sort glass as needed for IGD build.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

  • Glass handling experience a plus.


  • High school Diploma required (Associates degree preferred).


  • Must be willing to work long hours and have a flexible schedule. 
  • Read, write, understand the English language and be able to communicate well. 
  • Must have computer experience.  Will be required to work with Oracle, Outlook & Excel.
  • Ability to research projects.


  • May require prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.


  • Work performed indoors in a climate controlled office environment.
  • May need to work in the production environment.
