Job Title:                             Strategic Account Manager, e-Commerce

Job Summary:

Drive sales and expand relationships with strategically important e-commerce customers.   Responsible for achieving profitable sales growth and assigned strategic account objectives that are actionable and should support targeted account sales growth. Work closely with the eCommerce merchandising team, traditional sales teams and cross functional teams with Kichler to achieve the sales and business development goals for key accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represents the entire range of Kichler products and services to assigned customers, lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure business growth and achieving of sales goals with the customers.
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period, with a specific focus on key online retail accounts.
  • Drive key eCommerce capability building required to support sales and business development growth working closely with various functional areas within marketing and outside like sales, marketing and finance.
  • Develop best in class reporting and analysis of the business, working together with finance and the eCommerce merchandising teams to develop insights that create a competitive advantage to drive sales and business development.
  • Establish the process and work with the merchandising team and the brand advocate teams to perform competitive analysis to understand how competition is performing across various online retailers. 

Qualification Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a BS in Business or Sales related field (MBA preferred) and at least 7-10 years of related online/digital marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must be able to analyze and interpret data from various sources and apply to business needs as well as understand online retailer behavior. 
  • This person must be highly collaborative, focused on building relationships and a strategic thinker, along with being analytical, have a good knowledge of systems and be process driven.
  • She/he should have the ability to apply resources to drive results against business objectives.
  • This person must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization as well as with customers. 
  • This role must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment and be able to prioritize multiple, often competing priorities. 
  • Must be able to evaluate decisions based on the impact to the customer and display a willingness and ability to provide world-class customer service.
