Career Opportunity:

We are actively seeking a Region Manager for our South Region. Selected candidate must be located in the MSS South Region (Georgia, Tennessee, Florida) and close to a large Metropolitan airport.

Work Responsibilities:

As the Region Manager, you will:

  • Identify and create development opportunities within Region
  • Maintain consistent adherence to MSS policies and procedures
  • Assess, guide, coach, and develop Masco Representatives
  • Document performance, both positive and negative
  • Responsible for periodically servicing assigned local accounts
  • Assist with MSS operational execution
  • Support all departments in continuous improvement and best practices
  • Communicate and oversee the execution of MSS Department Objectives
  • Ensure proper territory alignments across Region
  • Make final hiring decisions while following consistent hiring practices
  • Develop exit strategies for underperforming employees
  • Maintain consistent budget practices and policy adherence
  • Oversee and coordinate Region training efforts
  • Ensure effective brand service and representation
  • Ensure effective execution of project and survey related activities

    Perform regular store calls in locally assigned retail accounts

Diverse Skills and Experience That You Will Bring to the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of previous leadership or management experience in retail and/or related home improvement industry preferred
  • Able to staff, lead, and manage a team of 10 to 20 direct reports within an assigned geographic Region
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of personal computers and competence in standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with developing and managing a department
  • Fundamental awareness of general HR policies, regulations, and practices required
  • Capable of creating business development activities using financial impact/analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with a strong emphasis on both written and verbal presentation skills
  • Effective use of organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates a high level of dependability and reliability in all aspects of the job
  • Acts in an ethical, honest, and trustworthy manner based on personal accountability and a moral
  •  Ability to push, pull and lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally 
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend and squat occasionally
  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary, up to 50% of the time
