WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Are you a team player? Working closely with our Purchasing team, you will help to develop and standardize the parameters that go into how the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) calculates demand by Factory, reorder points, and buy quantities.
  • Are you efficiency minded? You’ll help develop demand signals and Reorder point parameters in our ERP, Navision, to increase materials purchasing efficiency.
  • Do you enjoy research? You will run queries to identify part demand by Supplier and Factory and interview each buyer to understand current data in the ERP.
  • Are you analytical? You’ll be responsible for compiling a comprehensive list of the current parameters for each major vendor, including: Reordering Policy, MOQ, Order Multiple, Safety Stock Levels, Lead Time, and In-stock % goals. You will make suggestions for updating the parameters (if needed) based on demand planning methods and, once approved, you’ll help upload the new parameters into the ERP.
  • Do you have strong documentation skills? You will document any processes used in uploading data into the ERP system, as well as the thought processes behind any analysis done.
