Milgard is the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the Western United States with operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Denver and Texas. . The Temecula, California, plant has an immediate opening for a Production Manager, someone with outstanding leadership skills and knowledge of the best process, to manage the daily production operations for the plant.  

At Milgard, our Production Managers have responsibility for overall production operations, leading, coaching, and mentoring Supervisors, Leads, and Operators.  We are a company focused on excellence as one of our Core Values, along with respect for the individual and outstanding customer focus.  This is an extremely important role with complexity, challenges and rewards! 

In this role, we will ask you to focus on these key functions:

  • Appropriate staffing and scheduling to ensure the safety of our workers and maximum productivity output
  • Planning departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly results to identify specific areas for improvement. Motivate and initiate production improvements through participating and leading our continuous improvement culture.
  • Motivational pillar for the production floor through effective communication, coaching and teaching of others to achieve key results.
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews and develop succession candidates.

Milgard is growing with a track record of strong financial performance, which creates opportunities for team members. Viable candidates should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience with previous multi-line responsibility, and oversight of a large team = at least 150 employees.
