Pricing Analyst

Role Summary:

The successful candidate must have ability to work with complex data sets to help Kichler Lighting determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.  This is a highly analytical role that considers data from multiple sources to develop complex pricing models.  The successful candidate must also have the ability to analyze competitor pricing along with market conditions to determine ideal target prices and price structures for the Business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot system Pricing issues and resolve data issues as necessary
  • Solve new pricing scenarios including Customer-specific discounts and surcharges, discontinued, promotions, price zones
  • Maintain price books, libraries, and upload new pricing
  • Generate Pricing Reporting
  • Generate Pricing output necessary for Price Sheets
  • Load all new prices into PeopleSoft and P21 (ERP)
  • Ensure all prices are loaded and are accurate in all systems in-sync
  • Load other necessary product data into PeopleSoft that is not entered by Product Management (Class, Commission Rate, IMAP, and Rate)
  • Ensure all Price Zones include accurate prices
  • Ensure discontinued products are identified, categorized, and priced correctly
  • Ensure data files are distributed and delivered to our pricing services companies, e-commerce, and customers 30 days in advance of the effective date of pricing adjustments
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Operations and other Functions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience in a corporate, professional environment
  • Strong analytical ability with excellent Microsoft Excel
  • Proven track record of translating complex data into comprehensive actionable reports
  • Financial aptitude including but not limited to margins, pricing, and profitability
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate at various levels of the organization
  • Experience with process documentation and training

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of two years of Pricing experience in a Corporate environment
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • Experience with P21
