IN A NUTSHELL

As our Paid Media/Search Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing and analyzing all paid and organic digital marketing activities for our business and consumer markets in the United States and Canada, with primary focus on our Hot Spring® Spas and Caldera® Spas brands.   As a core member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for new customer acquisition through our online channels such as paid search, display, paid social, comparison shopping and e-commerce, while reporting to our Sr. Search Marketing Manager and working collaboratively with our broader marketing team.

IS THIS YOU?

  • Are you a Paid Media/Search Engine Marketing (SEM) guru?  You will manage the day-to-day paid search and display marketing activities across multiple search engines, display networks, comparison-shopping engines, and paid social media platform activities.  You will also be our key point of contact in managing and ensuring optimization of our paid search campaigns and communicate program performance in our North American markets.  Other areas of responsibilities include developing and executing our Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign strategies and roadmaps to increase revenue, traffic, conversion and margins, and growing and optimizing our audience strategy to target customers in an omnichannel approach, as well our keyword portfolio.
  • Can you dive deep into Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?  You’ll be our main point of contact to implement our SEO strategy aimed at increasing qualified traffic and conversions across platforms and devices, and to increase visibility of dealer pages in local markets.  You will also facilitate internal processes and workflow for our SEO program including link-building, technical SEO audits and content gap analysis, and development.  When it comes to organic search, you will manage our ongoing organic search program including strategy development, keyword identification, content development and inbound link opportunities.
  • Can you optimize results? You will seek and test new traffic sources, implement and oversee the full campaign lifecycle, and evaluate results to optimize performance and outcomes.  You will also assist with testing and determining results for on-page landing page, using conversion rate optimization strategies through A/B testing to improve campaign performance.
  • Do you enjoy reporting? You will create and maintain SEO dashboard to surface issues, drive decisions, and inform colleagues of trends and outcomes. You’ll also manage dynamic sitemaps, maintain regular updates with Google and Bing Webmaster Tools and implement best practices for semantic and structured markup. 
  • Are you analytical?  You’ll be a point person to analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations that correlate directly to leads and revenue acquisition. You will also leverage your strong analytical skills to analyze cost per lead, click through rates, cost per clicks, value of a click in the PPC market, churn, sales attrition, and other trends, to make recommendations which will help influence revenue and operating margin patterns.
  • Are you a team player? You’ll be part of our broader Marketing department and will work closely with the various teams to maximize performance and results.  You’ll also provide some project management while working with external agency partners and outsourced resources.
  • Can you inspire others? You’ll be able to share your expertise by developing and presenting trainings for our sales and channel partners through online webinars and in-person presentations.
  • Can you maintain a budget? You will be responsible for maintaining our paid media budgets and working closely with our Sr. Search Marketing Manager to align budgets with KPIs and our brand strategies.  You’ll also manage the day-to-day budgetary decisions for Paid Media and SEM.
  • Do you stay current? We will look to you to keep up with digital marketing trends and latest technologies by supporting your development through trainings, certifications, webinars, networking events, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is strongly preferred.  The equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Active Google AdWords certification is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years digital/online marketing experience with strong emphasis on paid search and paid social is required.  Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with high-ticket durable goods is preferred.  Experience working in a digital marketing agency is a plus. Experience in ecommerce (B2B, B2C) is also a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of various online tools and platforms: Search Engine Optimization Tools, Local SEO and Google My Business, Paid Media Tools and Demand Side Platforms, Paid Social Media, Web Analytics, HTML 5 and creative tools (i.e. Adobe Suite), web and mobile Conversion Rate Optimization; Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and strong working proficiency in other MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Office) applications is required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.
