The intern will assist the Health and Safety manager with the development of the Machine Assessment Program (MAPS) as well as update LOTO, JSA’s and PPE assessments at plant#1 & #2

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in developing the new MAPS program at plant #2
  • Assist in updating the LOTO placarding
  • Support the HS manager on a daily basis with accident/ near miss investigations
  • Coordinate efforts in updating JSA’s and PPE assessments

    Essential Skills:

  • Strong computer skills, (Excel, word, etc.) Must have knowledge in LOTO, PPE assessments and JSA’s, strong writing skills, and the ability to work well with others.


  • This intern needs to be ending their junior year of college majoring in Safety Sciences or starting into the Master program for Safety Science.
