Our Sales Representatives call on retail hardware outlets and are expected to execute the following:

  • Calling on Ace Hardware, promoting the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paint program
  • Develop customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Suggest behavioral selling strategy to gain market share.
  • Manage on-hand inventory.
  • Sell-in of existing and new programs.
  • Insure core set integrity, and maintain in-store marketing material.
  • Plan and organize sales call schedule.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Additionally, our Sales Representatives will be required to travel (air travel) outside their local market to set up new customers.  This will include; fixture builds, planogram sets, and in-aisle associate training.

Required Experience:

  • Strong Communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Track record of success in a highly self– directed environment
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Fluent in English, additional language skill a plus

Special Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license, evidence of insurance and verification of an acceptable driving record.
  • Overnight weekly travel will be required in certain markets to set up new customers.
  • Ability to operate cordless drill and build modular fixtures is a plus.
  • Lifting 40lbs
