Masco Cabinetry has an immediate opening for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager in Culpeper, VA!

This vital and proactive management role is responsible for the organization and supervision of the plant manufacturing and facilities functions. Assures plant operational compliance with environmental and safety regulations.


  • Manage the research, justification and effective implementation of plant and equipment improvement projects, for inclusion in the facility capital budget.
  • Achieve positive budget results in support of plant operations.
  • Ensure that a clean safe work environment is maintained through the management of the Faculty Safety Program.
  • Operational Excellence, Best Practice, KPI’s.
  • Support the plant’s Lean and Six Sigma Continuous Improvement processes by driving uptime improvements through a plant wide Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program and through Poke-Yoke development and implementation.
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Thermal Imaging.
  • Maintenance Engineering, product, and production engineering support.
  • Manage plant equipment modifications and setup in compliance with safety and functionality standards.
  • Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Team Building.


  • Familiarity with the cabinet industry and products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5 years manufacturing operations experience.
  • 2 years’ supervision experience in either maintenance or manufacturing engineering.
  • Cost and budget controls.
  • Use of CMMS
  • Capital Expenditures, ROI, new equipment installation and relocation.
  • TPM and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) knowledge and experience.
  • Equipment automation and robotics.
  • PLC/Ladder Logic knowledge.
  • Building, grounds maintenance and landscaping.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated successful ability to lead, mentor and train people to get results through others as a team.
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen activities and Six Sigma processes.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
