POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving overarching strategic direction, coaching and leadership on the implementation of continuous improvement (CI) efforts throughout all the Company’s commercial divisions and operational functions.  This position requires an experienced Lean Transformation Leader with a broad cross-functional background, as well as demonstrated success in driving improvements across transactional business processes.  The CI Director will be a key leader in implementing the Masco Operating System (MOS) within Brasscraft through both direct leadership and coaching/mentoring.

JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:

  • Drive a Continuous Improvement culture within Brasscraft by prioritizing opportunities and execution of a lean enterprise transformation strategy and metrics
  • Lead or facilitate annual strategy deployment
  • Directly support Brasscraft functional leads to achieve strategic objectives using developed MOS tools, developing new standardized tools, and conducting Kaizen events or workshops to execute
  • Engage, champion and lead CI steering team and Kaizen events in corporate headquarters, including development of Kaizen pipeline across all functional areas
  • Work directly with Brasscraft leaders, including those in Supply Chain, Sales, Product Development and Marketing to instill a LEAN and Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Coach and teach Continuous Improvement at all levels of the organization from executive leadership to production operators, including fundamentals like problem solving, Kaizen leadership and daily management
  • Develop talent throughout Brasscraft through teaching, coaching and mentorship of CI principles
  • Support and mentor the development of Kaizen facilitators and CI leaders throughout Brasscraft.
  • Liaise with other Masco CI & MOS leaders to benchmark and share best practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in different business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance or like roles
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives, lean principles or Change Management process in a corporate environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (some International)
