The Corporate Learning Manager, Sales & Marketing drives the success of Delta Faucet Company’s strategic training initiatives by connecting a diverse group of key influencers with the passionate teams at our Indianapolis headquarters, to build stronger brand advocates in the marketplace. In this role, you collaborate, craft, and communicate the passion we bring to design, innovation, and service, and help our guests leave feeling more knowledgeable about our products and services, and highly confident in recommending or specifying Delta branded, Brizo branded, and Peerless branded products.  And how do you grow in your role? You continuously develop your own personal & professional skillset by using your creativity, planning, coordination, and interpersonal skills to deliver product, brand, technical, and sales training for the designer, wholesale showroom, architect, and builder communities, all in an effort to turn the ordinary, into the extraordinary educational experience.

Create, Communicate, & Present

  • Apply existing and develop fresh new content for our training programs that resonates with learner audiences.
  • Determine the appropriate learning and delivery methodologies that will engage audiences.
  • Lead a budget for content creation
  • You will show your talent in oratory presentation and written communications-including articulation, grammar, and persuasion, to effectively connect to our learner audiences.
  • Remain calm when facing presentation disruptions, technology failures, and rely on your professional expertise to handle the variability in audience behavior.


  • You will engage and confer with senior leadership.
  • We help you network with external partners, including industry associations, (e.g., ASA, ASID, AIA, NKBA, etc.), buying groups, training vendors, and speakers to develop relationships, earn trust, and pursue solutions together.
  • Get along with a variety of cross functional teams within our Marketing and Sales departments (e.g. brand, channel, event marketing, product development, R&D, and sales management), plus Engineering, Finance, & Customer Solutions, to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Use knowledge of specific customer situations to develop appropriate learning objectives and outcomes to be achieved.
  • Align training objectives with the corporate business strategies.

Improve the Process

  • Identify and implement the changes that will improve the training program content, delivery, measurement metrics and achievement of its learning objectives.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content and testing throughout a course life cycle.
  • Own your content design process, with ideas on improvement and relevance to audience needs.
  • Participate in personal developmental training.

Plan and Organize

  • Facilitate delivery of live classroom and blended training as the primary presenter. Drive train-the-trainer initiatives to ensure effective presentation of training materials by others.
  • Demonstrate sound and logical decision-making skills, pay attention to details, and manage the scope of event planning as required.
  • Work with high-performance teams to ensure that the logistics for all learning experiences are efficient and high quality.

Your Experience

  • We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and engaging facilitator with a good sense of humor. Ideally, this person brings experience in curriculum and content development with emphasis on creativity.
  • Minimum of five years or more of industry work experience with a background in brand, channel, product marketing, and/or learning & development.

We will consider you, if you

  • Show skill in oratory/presentation, with clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Show confidence in your ability to deliver technical training.
  • Bring knowledge/exposure of important trade segments in the building products industry, preferably with exposure to the design community.
  • Demonstrate effective planning, time management, organizational skills, and an ability to work well under minimal supervision.
  • Validate your skills in Microsoft Office tools; direct experience in Power Point preferred.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a relevant subject area (e.g. business, education, marketing, sales).

Other Requirements/Preferences

This position requires a willingness to travel, overnight as required, up to 30%, by air or by car. Additionally, the position requires participation in evening activities such as customer dinners and other relationship building events that may result from the customer training programs.
