As a smart and agile problem solver, the Business and Sales Analyst will build productive working relationships with our Customers to drive new initiatives. Ability to win the hearts and minds of our customer’s merchant team, Behr sales leaders, and other cross-functional partners, through a customer-centric "get things done, do the right thing" demeanor will be paramount for success in this role. The Business and Sales Analyst works cross-functionally with a focus on Sales and a lens into Marketing, Customer Relationships, Business Systems, and Finance. This role will work out of our design center in Smyrna, Georgia facility.


  • Provide strategic support for sales priorities by framing and breaking down complex problems into key components.  Design and execute on data and business insights and provide recommendations to drive tangible business outcomes.
  • Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts to meet or exceed key performance indicators. (i.e. analyze inventory, sku productivity, category management and systems, analyze sales activities or trends, conduct market research, conduct research on work-related topics).
  • Identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and track progress through planning, process, and tool improvements.
  • Collect, evaluate sales data and analyze economic conditions to measure the attainment of sales objectives.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, recommend sales and pricing strategies and advise on changes in sales and product promotional efforts
  • Generate shelf schematics and create Plano grams to better manage existing retail shelf space and achieve maximum profitability.
  • Develop and facilitate presentations for senior management and/or customer to lead projects as assigned in a corporate environment.
  • Provide continuous, accurate analysis of current pricing by product and customer.
  • Analyze period variances in pricing and departmental budgets.
  • Conduct consumer research and demographic studies to utilize in the development of sales and pricing strategies and their execution.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or related field experience
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with SAP and Business Warehouse and Planogram software


  • Strong leadership skills shown by successful ability to influence others and drive results
  • Sales field operations
  • Experience in managing and analyzing data to provide recommendations on strategic issues
  • Strong financial modeling skills 
  • Ability to think analytically, creatively and independently 
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results 
  • Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills
  • Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Familiarity with SAP and Business Warehouse
  • Certification with space planning software experience with big box retailers preferred
  • Possess excellent communication skills. 
  • Possess excellent organizational skills
  • May supervise other team member(s).


Special projects and analytical support to senior sales strategy leaders as needed.


Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, meet and maintain Behr Paint driver policies.
