  • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain hardware, server and desktop, operating systems, and application software
  • Support all business applications, computer systems and appliances, network devices, and telecommunications equipment
  • Support information technology applications, systems, and processes
  • Ensure operational stability, efficiency, and security of systems and infrastructure
  • Perform scheduled operational tasks
  • Conduct necessary technology research and provide recommendations
  • Provide user training and support as necessary


Take on small projects to evaluate system hardware and software and capabilities.  Provide recommendations.

Install, configure, and deploy various hardware, software, and peripherals used in business, shop floor, retail, and consumer environments.

Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose IT problems both on-site and over the phone.

Monitor various hardware and software platforms on a routine basis to ensure uptime and support business processes.

Maintain inventory of all computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment and software.

Coordinate service of all computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment.

Create, install, and troubleshoot network cabling as necessary.

Create and follow documentation for operational procedures



Educational attainment equivalent to high school graduation, supplemented by training

Three+ years of experience involving network administration, user support, and/or personal computer technical work in a network environment is required


Broad knowledge of personal computers and networking components including wireless

Ability to follow documented operational procedures for organization, coordination, and completion of job orders

Ability to install and configure computer components; i.e., hard drives, video cards, and memory is required

Ability to install operating systems, software applications, and printers is required

Ability to communicate with staff and other departmental representatives concerning job order needs or assignments

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and follow-up on tasks to complete work as scheduled and to meet deadlines

Ability to provide onsite and telephone support to customers, vendors, and employees

Ability to conduct research utilizing books, publications, CD ROMs, news groups, and the Internet


Ability to work a flexible workweek, including nights, weekends, or extended hours in order to meet production schedule requirements or provide support when required

Ability to travel to remote locations for training and onsite support as required
