We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our corporate finance team in Tacoma, Washington.

As an Accounts Payable Manager, will be a “hands on” manager and will be responsible for a team of 6 to 8 AP Specialists.  This position is critical with responsibility to make sure staff is properly trained and motivated, to apply best practices in standardized business processes and to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Implement and administer internal controls procedures and processes for accounts payable to ensure compliance with Sarbannes-Oxley
  • Oversee and enhance all accounts payable processing functions, from vendor setup review through payment
  • Oversee all system interfaces, reconciliations between Legacy and Oracle ERP systems resolving exceptions
  • Oversee Prime Revenue (Supply Chain Financing) interfaces and reconciliations, resolving issues, if any
  • Reconcile Prime Revenue’s “Call for Funding” to check run to make sure payment amounts agree
  • Conduct the month end Oracle closing steps for Accounts Payable module including rollforward of AP GL accounts for both Trade and Intraco accounts
  • Review Invoice Approval Reports, resolving workflow issues holding up approval
  • Review outstanding credits to make sure they are applied against invoices or check sent if no longer purchasing from supplier

The successful candidate will have proficiency in:

  • 5 years Accounts Payable Experience in a corporate environment required.
  • Previous supervisory experience (3+ years) required
  • Oracle or ERP system knowledge desired, implementation experience a bonus
  • Experience dealing with multiple locations is strongly desired
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Previous experience in implementing internal controls for payables processing
